40 Things To Do In The Tampa Bay Area When You Are Nearing 40 Weeks Pregnant!

When you are nearing, or past your due date, it is normal to start feeling a bit antsy. The Tampa Bay area is such a great place to live, birth, and raise children. Check out some of the amazing local resources, and activities, to help pass the time in those last days before you become busy snuggling baby. You might end up wishing for a few more days...

1. Stroll the Sponge Docks in Tarpon Springs. Take in the rich Greek history, but don't leave without satisfying your cravings at Hellas

2. Be a beach bum for the day. There are so many great beaches to choose from. Show the beach goers how you are rocking your amazing belly and pregnancy

3. Rock baby into a great position with some gentle yoga at Birthmarks

4. Celebrate your new motherhood with some belly art or a mother blessing from Feather Mama

5. Meet up with new mama friends at the Community Roots Collective Building

6. Check out one of the Tampa Bay Babywearing events and fall in love with a wrap or carrier for your new squish

7. Commemorate the bump with a beautiful belly cast from Buddha Belly

22. Find your local LLL chapter and attend a meeting

32. Take in the beauty and history of Ybor City. While it's not scientifically proven that spicy foods can kick start labor, you shouldn't miss getting something delicious from the Colombia Restaurant while you are there

33. If you're not having a homebirth, pack your bags!
